Flying lessons

Last week I started on an amazing e-course for creative businesses called ‘Flying Lessons’ - see our Art & Craft  page for more info. We have beenballoonsballoons looking at blogs and I realised becuase I prefer cartridge pen and handmade paper to keyboard & screen, I have neglected to use this blog as I have been writing in my journal instead. So today I am committing to make sure I journal here at least twice a week and start to invite people to read and comment on my blog and other pages in my site. I have been so shy about the basic level of conetn that I haven’t told anyone my site is here! Well I know it’s still really basic but at least it starts to explain what we do so I’m busy growing my wings ready to leap off into the ether and invite everyone to come and visit. Kelly-Rae’s course is really inspirational and I am just so thankful for her and all the other people of wisdom and creativity that have sustained me over the years. They include public figures like Nelson Mandela, Joni Mitchell, Maya Angelou and Sylvia Plath. But also community activists and unsung local heroes like Pam in our village who looks after everyone, Karen my therapist, Concetta my mosaic artist friend who told me about the course and Kate (one of our directors) aka the Wise Woman of Woodbridge. Thank you all - I can never really put into words how you have helped me to improve myself and what I do. It would be great to share other inspirational people. Who inspires you?
